Both times I checked my fasting blood sugar before consuming. I made keto waffles and 2 hours after eating, it made my blood sugar go up over 70 points, to 225. I'm not sure what's in it that could cause a blood sugar spike, but if you are diabetic, please use this with absolute caution. I don't know if it's the vegetable fiber that's put in it or what, but I use a Monk fruit/erythritol sweetener for coffee and other things and it never causes a spike, so there's definitely something in this that causes blood sugar spikes. Other than that, the taste is amazing. This review is specific to Sugar Free Syrup, Maple Vanilla

It's impossible to wash it off your spoon. If you want to make chocolate milk, forget about it. It doesn't even mix with milk. It just stays glued to your spoon as you stir your milk.
