January 11, 2021Reviewer: Melissa in Texas* I love this product, very versatile, I use it mostly to make cookies.
July 07, 2019Reviewer: James in Maryland* Delicious biscuits. Just a hint of sweetness to them which really enhances the flavor. I had trouble getting them to bake completely through, so as I used them I would cut them in half and put them in an oven at about 300 degrees for about 5 minutes and they came out delicious especially with some butter. Increase the temperature a bit and bake for a bit longer if you want them to toast. I think they would be too delicate for a pop-up toaster, but a toaster oven would work well.
July 03, 2019Reviewer: Karen in Nebraska* These had a very strange texture and taste. Not good biscuits at all, not light and fluffy, but heavy and unpalatable after baked. The dough was pleasantly good. I was so disappointed in the end product. This is just my opinion. Some may like these. I didn't.
June 29, 2019Reviewer: Rebecca in Florida* Price, product amount, and nutrition can be determined before you order, so do your due diligence and you won't be disappointed. These were exactly as advertised, they had an almond flour 'biscuit' texture but with the flavor of a club cracker. The outside of the biscuits had a thin, pleasant crust. We think that adding some sweetener to these will create a result similar to Bisquick strawberry shortcakes.
1 of 5 people found the following review helpfulJune 03, 2019Reviewer: A guest* For the high price I was surprised when I discovered that there was only a small amount of product in the bag, and the whole bag was to be used to make a small batch of biscuits. The instructions were not clear, so it took me awhile to figure out that the whole bag was to be added to the two eggs and butter. The ingredient information stated that the cholesterol count was zero, and yet there was at least 700 mg for the two eggs added, and more for the butter. The information was deceiving. You need to fix these problems. The price is way too expensive for the small amount in the bag.
However, I loved the biscuits! Because of the small amount of product and the price, and the misinformation, I will give you only 2 on the scale, As far as the baked product, you get a 5 on the scale.
Think about replacing the eggs with an egg replacement, and the butter replaced with margarine or some other product as a replacement for butter.
