March 08, 2022Reviewer: Linda in Israel* I think I've already reviewed this product before (?) but even if not exactly comparable to a "real" French croissant, they do make a very handy zero carb snack ! With loads of butter and low carb jam or peanut butter, they become quite tasty. And best part is that they are "long life" - no need to refrigerate, and you can keep them in the cupboard for ages. I haven't tried the salty ones - maybe I should do that, as they probably go well with cheese or other savoury toppings. This review is specific to High Protein/High Fiber Croissant, Original

October 26, 2021Reviewer: Natalie in Texas* Rating is an average over both versions. I tried both Salty and Original flavors and for the most part liked them both. (Original is about a 4.5 out of 5 while salty is probably around a 3.5) Both have a good amount of protein and fiber. My issue is that the "Salty" version is not salty at all and has nearly the same amount of sodium as the original. I was honestly hoping for a saltier taste to go with more savory flavors and maybe a buttery aroma/taste but both have a vanilla smell and taste while the original is quite a bit sweeter than the salty one. They are both great for a sweet pastry like dessert as they have the vanilla smell and taste but trying to eat it with something more savory like a sandwich with meat and cheese is personally not one of my favorites. Probably would just stick to the original only when the craving for a pastry comes up.
