February 05, 2021Reviewer: John in New York* This is great, high quality protein at a cheap price (cheaper than my supermarket). I add a quarter cup to oatmeal in the morning plus blueberries and raisins - tasty and nutritious! I ordered 8 bags at once to minimize the shipping cost per bag. I'll order again when I run out in 10 months or so.

January 30, 2021Reviewer: A customer in Connecticut* Very versatile product as a meat substitute as well as a crunchy dry addition to salads to give a nice crunch. Even cook it into your oatmeal for added breakfast protein. The 12 oz. bag goes a long way.

November 29, 2020Reviewer: Stephen in California* Defatted soybeans turned into crispy-cooked nuggets...and they're crunchy-tasty, as well as versatile (I use them for cereal and topping on tuna, pasta...) and highly nutritious (high protein, high fiber, no fat, no sugar, lots of vitamins & minerals). What's not to like?

August 23, 2020Reviewer: A guest* THIS defatted soy flour (cooked into nutlike nuggests) is great stuff: nonfat, non sodium, high protein and fiber, plenty of calcium, magnesium and potassium, etc. It's quite versatile -- I use it as part of my regular breakfast cereal (mixed with regular cereals), and it goes well sprinkled into pastas and with other-bean and veggie dishes. It even has a nice crunchy texture.

May 09, 2020Reviewer: Susan in Connecticut* TVP is an excellent source of vegan protein and can be added/used as a replacement to any traditional meat products. Nutrition has been a gamechanger since discovering this. Wonderful.

June 12, 2019Reviewer: Terri in California* I have been having this for breakfast cooked with unsweetened vanilla almond milk as a “faux” oatmeal. I like it. It’s good and filling, keeping me full for hours, no blood sugar impact, but I still need to work on my execution. I am making it in a coffee cup: 1/4 C TVP & 1 C milk, stevia & cinnamon... and it frequently boils over messily in the microwave.

March 06, 2010Reviewer: Cathy in Illinois* Bob's Red Mill TVP works great with beans and other items to make great vegetarian dishes. Even my non-vegan husband eats this when made into a meatloaf or bean burgers. Great stuff, easy to work with, and tasty.

I've added it to soups (with spices when rehydrating) and made faux rice pudding (plenty of cinnamon & nutmeg). Next, I'm going to try making stuffed peppers!
