But tastes like sadness. They were horrible. Not even my husband who will eat just about anything, could eat them. He even spit out the one bite he had taken. Will go back to using Carbquick to make my own. This review is specific to Sugar Free Muffin and Bread Mix, Cranberry Orange
November 30, 2018Reviewer: Felicia in Missouri* The muffins bake like regular muffins, however I couldn't deal with it not being sweetened in any manner. So I didn't eat them. This review is specific to Sugar Free Muffin and Bread Mix, Blueberry
January 04, 2016Reviewer: Pam in California* I used to love these muffins. Even my family who doesn't eat low-carb loved them. Now they have changed the recipe, and we are very disappointed with how they taste. The texture is now airy, not a cupcake/muffin consistency, and the taste just isn't there any longer. Obviously another manufacturer who has changed their recipe for the worst. Will no longer purchase. This review is specific to Sugar Free Muffin and Bread Mix, Blueberry
1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulJune 21, 2015Reviewer: Robert in New York* I have been buying the Low Carb Cranberry Orange Muffin and Bread Mix for a number of years and have been a huge fan, until now. I just received a new order and discovered that New Hope Mills has apparently reformulated the recipe. I just made a batch this morning and was very disappointed with the results. While the old formulation always produced a soft and moist cake-like muffin, the new formulation produces a considerably drier and more bread-like muffin. I donít know if this is due to the fact that the amount of oil has been reduced or the suggested baking time has been increased or whether there has been a change in the ingredients, but I am very unhappy with the results.
Why did New Hope Mills have to change the product? It was one of my favorite low carb products and one that I would recommend even to persons who do not specifically try to consume low carb products. Now I have to look for an alternative (not to mention that I have a large supply of a product that I no longer like).
Very unfortunate. This review is specific to Sugar Free Muffin and Bread Mix, Cranberry Orange

New Hope Mills definitely made changes to the ingredients because the muffins I purchased last week had NO taste. I will not buy this product again unless they go back to the old recipe. Did New Hope Mills even do a taste test with customers before they went ahead with the changes? I am going to say no.
