The carbs per tablespoon appears to be about 1/2 that of regular peanut butter, but unfortunately, when you add water, the volume reduces by about 50%. So, 2 tablespoons of powder end up equaling 1 tablespoon when mixed and the carb count remains unchanged.
On the plus side, it does taste good, so if you are looking to reduce fat or want easily storable/packable peanut butter, go for it. If you want lower carbs, keep looking.

I ordered this after reading rave reviews all over the place, and I now think these people hadn't had real peanut butter in so long that they've forgotten what it's like. I WANT to like this stuff, but it has a peculiar, stale, burnt taste to it. I tried using it in a recipe for a fat fast, for texture, and it didn't lend a peanutty taste, it made my recipe taste very weird. I'm currently watching calories like a hawk, so I'll keep trying this stuff and hope to fall in love with it, but I'd way rather have a teaspoon of REAL peanut butter than a tablespoon of this.This review is specific to PB2 Powdered Peanut Butter, Original

I did end up using the rest of the mix in my protein smoothies and it was fine, but to just mix it up and eat it like I do the regular kind just didn't work. Pros are it's pretty good tasting and it low fat/high protein but that's it. I mixed up 6 tablespoons as directed with water (I was making a triple batch) and what I ended up with was 2 tablespoons of peanut butter with about 150 calories. Now it was higher protein and lower fat than regular peanut butter but the powder is fluffy and when you add water, it condenses down to a small amount and that's about what regular peanut butter has in it, calorically speaking. I use natural peanut butter and feel better when I have a decent amount of good fat in my diet so unless someone can help me with this stuff or has a better idea on what to do with it, this will be my last purchase.This review is specific to PB2 Powdered Peanut Butter, Original
