August 25, 2018Reviewer: A customer in Washington* love it
September 06, 2017Reviewer: Tom in Tennessee* Our household loves peanuts but not the associated fat. Our primary use for this product is PBJ. We hydrate the powder with sugar-free jam (we use raspberry) so the texture is very similar to real peanut butter.
We like being able to control the salt and sugar content to suit us (we add a little salt and no sugar).
For us, the slight bitter component of the dark roast adds interest just like with coffee.
We've been ordering this product routinely since May 2012

This was the last one and it is my least favorite. I don't like sugar or salt in my peanut flour, so I was hoping this would be good, but it tastes burnt. Very bitter and gross aftertaste.
I haven't tried the 28% light roast, but the website says it has a more palatable taste.
December 19, 2013Reviewer: Danielle in Texas* This stuff is great! It's a fraction of the price of PB2 and tastes better, in my opinion.

I typically make a breakfast cereal that has other sweeteners and ingredients.
I love it as it is low fat and tastes like peanut butter. I eat the equivalent of 1-2 jars of peanut butter a week, so this saves me thousands of unnecessary fat calories.

The Protein Plus peanut flour is very good. I was hoping the dark roast meant a stronger peanut flavor, but it is just too bitter. May be good in recipes... just not as a substitute for peanut butter.
