January 09, 2021Reviewer: Corinne in New York* I highly recommend this almond butter. It’s sweeter than some other almond butter brands I have had in the past but still low in sugar which is important to me. Chunky one is a thick texture and delicious! This review is specific to Almond Butter, Crunchy

January 16, 2020Reviewer: Barbara in California* I love that this almond butter doesn't separate and doesn't need stirring. The consistency is like peanut butter and not gritty like other almond butters that I've tried. It's very good! This review is specific to Almond Butter, Crunchy

August 30, 2014Reviewer: A customer in North Carolina* This is the best almond butter EVER!!! It is the perfect consistency for sandwiches, dipping, spreading on lightly salted rice cakes (anyone else hungry?) and eating right out of the jar! I had been told that almond butter is better for boosting your metabolism than peanut butter due to almond butter being an alkaline food, whereas peanut butter is an acidic food. FYI- almonds are THE ONLY nut that is alkaline- all others are acidic. Anyway, in addition to the alkaline properties boosting your metabolism, alkaline foods fight off illness and disease. In addition to those great perks, almond butter has more vitamin E, iron and other vitamins than peanut butter. There are lots of other tidbits I learned about almond butter. Barney butter is THE BEST almond butter available- hands down! The first time I purchased it, it was because the label boasts that it is certified gluten free, certified kosher, certified non-gmo, requires no mixing due to separation, and it doesn't require refrigeration once opened. The label listed everything I was looking for AND MORE. So, I bought it even though the price was a little more than the others on the shelf- But once I tasted it, I was hooked and will never crave peanut butter again. The reason I say that is- I'd tried other almond butters on my journey to find a great one, but the consistency and bland, gritty taste always left me wanting to go back to acidic, creamy, yummy peanut butter. But I kept searching, and that day was the end of my search! Peanut butter cravings no more. Not now that I've found Barney Butter- I could be a Barney Butter salesperson! Okay, that's my review. Barney Butter is awesome, and all this talking about it- well, it made me hungry! I'm going to go eat some right now. :)This review is specific to Almond Butter, Smooth

1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulAugust 03, 2012Reviewer: Sarah in Illinois* The previous reviewer is correct! This stuff is as smooth as a baby's bottom, and DELICIOUS!! Not grainy like past almond butters I've tried. And a plus that it is manufactured in an "almonds only" facility for those of you with peanut allergies. I will never miss my name brand peanut butter again. This is better!!This review is specific to Almond Butter, Smooth

1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulApril 30, 2012Reviewer: John in Wisconsin* If you're turned off by gritty almond butter, you will love this. Absolutely no gritty taste. The smooth really has the same consistency as peanut butter. The oil separation is minimal. Not a lot of need for mixing. It starts getting less oily when you get really close to the bottom of the jar, but this does not have anywhere near the oily/dry inconsistency issues I've seen with other almond butter purchased elsewhere. This review is specific to Almond Butter, Smooth
