It is also quite versatile. It's unusual crunchy texture does require some trial, and truth be said, let me experience some errors. I was successful in using it as a crunchy ingredient in salads, and as a noodle base in Asian type soups. I personally was less successful using it in stir fries, but I am not exactly a great cook. I suggest people give it a try. This is a far cry from other "guilt free noodle substitute" on the market, you can use it straight out of the pouch, just rinse it quickly, no fishy smell or funky texture! This review is specific to Kelp Noodles
