May 24, 2020Reviewer: Dina in Florida* Love the flavor and texture, definitely resembles pie crust. I didn’t have a food processor so combining the solid cold butter was difficult but I’m sure it would’ve been even better if i did.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulOctober 31, 2018Reviewer: Rhonda in California* This pie crust is truly delicious. it gives you that flaky, slightly crunchy texture that you look for in a pie crust. in fact, it is so good that i doubted that it was really low carb, much like we found out dreamfield pasta was not really low carb. however, i agree with the other reviewer who said that it probably has a bit more carbs than it claims. this will be a monthly treat for me. i eat mostly low carb, (no sugar, no real flour, rice/potato). i made this exactly according to instructions with cut up apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, butter and blended up dates for the sweetener.

July 13, 2018Reviewer: LuAnne in Tennessee* This mix is awesome to use for pie crust (haven't tried it with biscuits). I was skeptical because of the texture when you're working with it but it does get flaky and really tasty.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpfulMarch 13, 2017Reviewer: Pamela in North Carolina* I am on the low carb diet and I wanted a pie crust that tastes like the real thing. This is it! I don't like a thick crust so I cut the recipe into 2 pie crusts. I've made 4 pies so far and I probably have enough left over for another pie crust or small batch of biscuits. I really want to try this as a chicken pot pie crust soon. LC Foods has many great low carb mixes and once again I am pleased. This mix is, hands down, the best pie crust.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulOctober 04, 2014Reviewer: Pamela in Texas* I used this product to make an adobe apple pie crust. The crust was everything it should be (crisp, flaky, and tasty). I used 2 cups of flour mix, 2/3 cup non hydrogenated shortening, 1 teaspoon salt, and 5 tablespoons water. Combine flour and salt. Cut in shortening until very crumbly. Add 1 tablespoon water at a time to dry section and form into ball as you add water. Roll out half of dough between 2 pieces of parchment paper for top and bottom of crust. Makes one double 8 inch crust.

This is the BEST low carb flour product I have found. My favorites are Pie Crust, Pizza Crust, Pan Cakes, and Pasta. These products are REMARKABLE.
