August 22, 2019Reviewer: Denise in Georgia* I’ve been eating a low carb lifestyle for 20 years now and I’ve never tasted anything as bad as the blueberry flavored muffins! They are awful and taste like your eating perfume...it’s the only way I know to describe it. I really like the texture though. So the cost of these is $20....so in order not to throw them out, I decided to try and mascaraed the taste by slathering them with butter, sugar-free jelly or even chopping them up in vanilla low carb ice-cream! I generally don’t write reviews but these are so bad, I had to!!!This review is specific to Muffins, Blueberry

November 14, 2016Reviewer: Kelly in Washington* I ordered the chocolate muffins and not only were these one of the most disgusting things I've ever eaten, they molded almost immediately. I don't usually write reviews but I just had to because this was just so bad.
I paid for the cold protection shipping stuff so when it arrived, the items were quite chilled. I went through them and looked at the muffins and they looked okay, but I got distracted by an infant and it was a couple of hours before I went back to the box. But the box had been closed up again so everything was still cold. I pulled one out and it already had white flecks on it. I tried to eat one but it was so gross I couldn't even swallow a second bite. It tasted like an excessive amount of Splenda were put in, which is weird since it doesn't have any sweeteners but sugar alcohols which don't have an aftertaste.
I had my daughter try it who doesn't mind Splenda, although she wouldn't choose it, and she agreed it was almost inedible. I put the ones that weren't moldy in the fridge but the next day they were all moldy, too. I ended up throwing them away. Quite disappointing for such an expensive product.

July 24, 2015Reviewer: Ryan in Iowa* I am pretty open to low carb foods, and have a taste for the difference etc, but these were simply awful. I thought they lacked flavor (chocolate) and if I hadnt known better I would have thought someone fed me chalk. I buy tons of products from netrition, and this is by far the worst ive had. Ill stick with the Low Carb Train Brownies. This review is specific to Muffins, Chocolate
