October 04, 2019Reviewer: Kevin in Wisconsin* It toasts really well. It did not "panini" well. I did not try it "as is". For what it's worth :)
December 11, 2018Reviewer: Robert in New York* I ate two so far. They are not bad and not good. I toasted it with butter and ate another one toasted with peanut butter. If you are really craving bread this isn't so bad, it will fill that craving. I do not know if I would order them again but, I am not throwing these out. I may eat one again with some eggs, I prefer these over the hamburger buns.
May 20, 2015Reviewer: Randall in Arizona* Although I liked the taste and texture of these, most had a big hole in the bun when I cut it open. That's not the type of "pocket" I was expecting.
January 25, 2014Reviewer: Deborah in Oregon* In general, I LOVE Great Low Carb Bread Company products. This might be my least favorite for two reasons: 1 - they are NOT "pockets" as the name implies, and 2 - like most of their other products, they are VERY THICK and could be flattened out a bit more before baking. It hurts my jaw to try and take bites once there is anything between the top and bottom...well maybe not peanut butter, but you get my drift. They do make a nice open-face...I slice them in half, pull out some of the soft center bread (dry and save for meatloaf or stuffing), spray with a little olive oil, then fill each half with tuna salad and top with shredded cheese; pop in the oven/toaster oven and enjoy two delicious little tuna melts for lunch!
