January 23, 2019Reviewer: Richard in Texas* BE CAREFUL IF ON KETO OR DIABETIC
So, the flavor is GREAT!! However, the serving size is too small. (1/4 teaspoon.) If you put 1/4 teaspoon in your coffee you probably won't taste much if anything.
However, if you put in 1 or 2 teaspoons, enough to give a coffee a real "peppermint mocha" vibe, you WILL get a blood sugar response. This shouldn't happen if the label was correct.
My blood sugar went up to 129 with 2 teaspoons. This is EXTREMELY HIGH for me. Even at .5 carbs per serving, that would only be 4 carbs. There is no way 4 carbs would trigger my blood sugar this much. I can eat 20 carbs and not be over 100.
I do not trust this item. If you are diabetic or keto, please test it with small doses and work yourself up. Please leave a review if you do a blood sugar test after this item and share with the fellow shoppers.
