3 of 3 people found the following review helpfulFebruary 10, 2012Reviewer: Ludmila in New York* Taste: this appleasauce tastes the same as any "regular" applesauce. Nutrition facts: SAME as any other unsweetened applesauce. Take Motts nutrition facts, adjust for portion size (Motts is 110g and Jok n Al is 30g), and for 30 grams of regular (unsweetened) appleasuce you're getting the same 3 g sugar and the same 15 calories. Price: 3 to 6 times as much as you pay in the supermarket, depending on the brand. What are we paiyng for?

December 19, 2008Reviewer: Sue in Arkansas* I think this tasted just like any ordinary apple sauce to me. I think it is way over priced but for a treat every once in a while to have with my pork chops it is fine.

Mix 3T applesauce with 2 T softened cream cheese. Split open 2 Joseph's low carb pitas along the outer edge and stuff with apple mixture. Dip pitas in a mixture of 1 egg, 1 T Splenda and 1/4 t vanilla. Fry in butter until golden and crispy. Serve with sugar free syrup. Makes fantastic stuffed french toast. :D

April 25, 2008Reviewer: David in New York* I love this with pork chops. Being a low-carber, I am always looking for ways to jazz up protein foods without any extra work. Just open up a jar of this apple sauce and you've got it made. The flavor is very apple-ey. Very good.
