You're better off using a recipe and substituting sugar for an alternative sweetner and adding your favorite lean protein. To reduce fat limit some oils and creams as necessary (i.e. curry). Then add the shiratake noodles to your favorite dish.

It was like tomato soup with about a half-cup of noodles clumped in the middle. In my opinion, it tasted bland. I doctored it up with some cooked and crumbled Italian sausage, some sauteed mushrooms, minced garlic, and a half-teaspoon of Italian seasoning. That added a couple grams of carbs but it's the only way I could get the stuff down. Most of the other varieties have way too many sugar carbs in them so I won't even pay for that.This review is specific to Shirataki Ready-to-Eat Meal, Spaghetti Marinara
